Merry-Go-Round is the new solo album by English singer-songwriter and harp player Jennifer Crook. Recorded in Glasgow with producer and hit songwriter Boo Hewerdine, the album features guest vocals from Eddi Reader, and a duet with Nashville’s Darrell Scott (Robert Plant’s Band of Joy), as well as contributions from Kevin McGuire, Andy May, Dorie Jackson, Bethany Porter and Maclaine Colston.
Described by Acoustic Magazine as “spellbinding”, Jennifer’s blend of contemporary folk, pop, and Americana is delightfully difficult to pigeonhole. Jennifer is an acclaimed musician and since reaching the finals of the BBC Radio 2 Young Tradition Awards has toured throughout Britain and Europe with many top artists and bands, recently performing on a major tour with Snow Patrol.
