Merry-Go-Round

Bath-based singer songwriter and harp player Jennifer Crook recorded her new solo album “Merry-Go-Round” in Glasgow with producer and hit songwriter Boo Hewerdine. The album, featuring guest vocals from Eddi Reader and a duet with Nashville’s Darrell Scott, will be released in the UK on 11th July 2011 by Proper.

Described as ‘spellbinding’ by Acoustic magazine, Jennifer’s blend of contemporary folk, americana and pop is delightfully difficult to pigeonhole. Jennifer has toured throughout Britain and Europe with many top artists and bands. She was a BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Musician finalist, and recently performed with Snow Patrol throughout their ‘Reworked’ tour.

“…a very special performance from a lady who will definitely make waves”. Maverick 2011
