I’d rather be held up by horses…wouldn’t yew?
December 8, 2012. No comments.
Today for a horrifying 5 minutes I found myself in New Look. This might be the worst decision I ever made. I had only gone in to pick up a parcel, and to say town was bustling would be to cast too fine a light on things. It was mostly a hoard of somewhat stressed people all getting in each other’s way.
So I cycled away as fast as I could – back to a land where people plant Yew trees, chop wood, eat boiled eggs and play guitar.
Somewhere near the park I was held up by a horse and cart but I didn’t mind having to cycle slowly by the calming sound of the clippity-clop, admiring the beauty of this historical city on a glorious winter day.
The truth is, I don’t know how everything is going to get done in time either…
and I’m even 2 Thornton chocolates behind schedule on the advent calendar (thanks Dad)…
but to anyone who is battling away in a busy city centre shop right now, all I want to say is –
you do have a choice.
